The first schedule of the film was shot in Punjab with Varun Dhawan, Sonam Bajwa and Aparshakti Khurana. After which, the second schedule took place in London with the rest of the team including Shraddha Kapoor, Shakti Mohan and Nora Fatehi. Katrina Kaif was original choice for lead role but she opted out, later Shraddha Kapoor joined the cast. In May schedule of shooting Shraddha Kapoor suffered muscle spasm. The film was wrapped up on 26 July 2019.


Marketing and release Date of Street Dance 3D

The film was initially scheduled for release on 8 November 2019. First look poster of Varun Dhawan in the film was unveiled on 27 May, with release date. In the poster, it is shown that film is now set to release on 24 January 2020 to coincide with Republic day week in India.

On 18 December official trailer of the film was launched by T-Series.

Street Dancer 3D is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language dance film directed by Remo D'Souza, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D'Souza. It stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Nora Fatehi, and Prabhu Deva in the lead roles. Principal photography began in February 2019, and was completed in July the same year. It is scheduled for a theatrical release in India on 24 January 2020.
